Tomorrow is International Women's Day. A day of great significance at Humdakin and for owner Camilla. Therefore, it is not a day that Humdakin passes by in silence.
At Humdakin, International Women's Day is also a celebration. In a company led by a woman with female employees, we feel all aspects of being a woman in a daily life where nothing comes easy.
It has sometimes required a bit of elbowing to get ahead. We have had to learn that the hard way at times, especially when the idea is to sell cleaning products in the interior design industry. Not everyone thought it was a good idea.
Lift each other up
Fortunately, some could see the idea, and Camilla has an idea of why she has come so far, namely that we believe in good karma and in uplifting each other. We also believe that we meet again, so we focus on being decent, responding kindly to all inquiries, providing good service to our customers, and helping each other.
This mindset applies not only internally at Humdakin but in all our collaborations with retailers and buyers. We can be better at celebrating rather than envying what others have. We should uplift each other; that way, we believe we all grow, and we can see that the grass is green on our side of the fence.
