Sea buckthorn is a small yellow or orange berry, that grows in the wild near the Scandinavian shores. The berries have sour and fresh taste and they can be used for an abundance of foods, drinks and care products due to their unique flavour and amazing properties. Sea buckthorn are a vitamin bomb and one single berry contains the same amount of Vitamin-C as a whole orange!
The berries are in season from August to October and you can pick them on a cozy trip to the beach. But watch out - the branches has thorns and the berries are fragile! But we have a simple tip: cut some branches of, freeze them for 30 minutes, take them out and shake them - the berries will come right of.
