Introducing Humdakin’s new Glass Cleaner
As one of our newest members to the Humdakin family, we feel like our Glass Cleaner needs a little introduction! Spring cleaning is upon us, and a good glass spray is important not only for spring cleaning, but as a part of your weekly cleaning routine as well.
Humdakin’s glass cleaner comes in a beautiful black bottle with the same Humdakin label as the other products. The glass cleaner was designed this way because we wanted it to be harmonic with the rest of the products, and fit beautifully in your home, but at the same time we wanted it to stick out as well. If you have a few Humdakin products standing together, the black bottle and different heights of the products create a dynamic look that still works beautifully in any home.
There is 750ml of ready to use product in the glass cleaner which means, unlike the universal cleaner, you do not have to blend with it water. The glass cleaner is very effective at removing smudges without leaving streaks. But what else makes this glass cleaner special, what makes it “Humdakin-like”, other than its design and function?
Well, to start with, the scent! One of the things Camilla does not compromise on when creating the products is the scent, because she knows how important it is for many of you. When you spray the glass cleaner, you don’t get the usual sharp and strong smell that you expect. Instead, you get a whiff of the clean and mild scent of sea buckthorn. Like all the other products in Humdakin’s range, this glass cleaner is effective and gets the job done, but doesn’t smell like chemicals and perfume.
The glass cleaner does not not contain ammonia, which is a harsh ingredient that can be damaging to your health over time. Ammonia is found in many window cleaners, as it can help break down oils and dirt, but not only does it smell horrible, it can also be irritating for your eyes, skin, and lungs.
Other than that, there are no dyes in the glass cleaner. Glass cleaners are notorious for the blue liquid, however the blue color can actually stain some materials if left for a while. The Humdakin glass cleaner is therefore a clear liquid, containing no dyes. Another perk is that the bottle, like all other Humdakin bottles, is made from 100% recyclable PET plastic! What can you use glass cleaner for?
Our glass cleaner can be used on many glass surfaces around the house…
- Windows in your home and in your car
- Mirrors in the bathroom, hallway etc.
- Faucet taps, shower heads, etc that are chrome
- Stainless steel, for example the extractor hood above the stove
- Glass/ceramic stove top (since there is no ammonia in our glass cleaner)
- On the sink after you’ve used our anti-calc for a shining finish
