When you browse the shelves at your local retailer or browse our range of products online, you might be met - and overwhelmed - by the many fragrant variants of our products. But back in 2016, the choice was a bit more simple: our signature scents of chamomile and sea buckthorn, sea buckthorn and sage.
Fragrance ensures the clean feeling
When Camilla was running her cleaning business, it was important for her to use a cleaning product that had a scent so that her customers could really feel and smell that they had been cleaned when they came home at the end of a long day. Camilla took this idea with her when developing products for Humdakin: they had to have clean and mild scents that made a difference after use and ensured a clean feeling in the home.
Therefore, it was also an active choice to exclude essential oils in the products. As they are very concentrated, the scent is also very strong and fragrant. Instead, we use a perfume that has been developed without the 26 fragrances that by the EU have been found to be allergenic. You will therefore also find that the scent is mild and fragrant.
Natural extracts
In Humdakin's care and cleaning products, you will also find natural extracts of ingredients inspired by Nordic nature. In our signature products you'll find sea buckthorn, sage and chamomile.
Each has its own distinctive properties that are nourishing to the skin: moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and packed with antioxidants. In addition, we also have nourishing ingredients such as aloe vera, panthenol and macadamia oil, and of course, they are free from harsh preservatives, SLS and added color like the rest of Humdakin's products.
