Our Mission

Humdakin inspires a more mindful approach to cleaning through a wide range of responsible and gentle household products, rooted in beautiful Scandinavian design. By creating products free from harsh chemicals, offering concentrated formulations, and using organic cotton, we strive to reduce resource consumption and waste while supporting safe and fair working environments for local factory workers.

Responsibility is not an add-on to our business – it is an integral part of everything we do. At Humdakin, we aim to create value for people, communities, and the planet, and we work every day to leave a better and smaller footprint.

We are proud to be B Corp Certified, meaning that we meet high standards of sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility. It is not about being perfect, but about committing to continuous improvement and transparency. We believe there is always room to do better, and we take responsibility that extends beyond ourselves.

Camilla's Motivation

In 2011, Camilla Schram was motivated to develop responsible cleaning products with carefully tested ingredient lists that consider the environment without compromising on effectiveness.

Integrity

We only produce products with ingredient lists and life cycles that we can personally stand behind and feel comfortable using ourselves.

Our Customers

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring a positive customer experience, whether it concerns product inquiries, questions, or complaints.

We strive to provide fast response times, a listening ear, and opportunities for feedback. For example, we conduct annual surveys among our newsletter subscribers, offer a direct contact form and customer service phone line, and provide customers with the opportunity to leave reviews through Trustpilot.

Social Responsibility

Our responsibility extends beyond the environment.

We are committed to ensuring that employees working for our suppliers and partners are treated fairly and work under good conditions. We also strive to create a workplace where our own employees enjoy coming to work, while supporting a number of NGOs in their efforts to help even more people and communities.

Approval

This Purpose Statement has been formally approved by the Board of Directors of Humdakin and constitutes the company's overarching purpose.
