Humdakin was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to create high-quality cleaning products that blend functionality, sustainability, and Scandinavian elegance. Founder and owner Camilla Schram’s passion for cleaning started early, when she founded her own cleaning company while studying law. Here she discovered the need for high-quality, multipurpose cleaning products that were gentle on the skin, kind to the environment, and infused with subtle, pleasant fragrances. She spent five years developing these formulas, ensuring they were effective and hypoallergenic, and on November 30th, 2016, Humdakin officially came to life. The first products who launched was the 01 Universal Cleaner + Spray Bottle, Anti Calc Spray, Glass Cleaner and 01 Dish Soap. All of these are still a part of Camillas NEED TO HAVE including the later arrival: The Toilet Cleaner.
The early days were anything but easy. Behind every elegant bottle and soothing scent lies years of hard work. Camilla navigated countless challenges, relentless work, securing retailers, managing logistics, and developing new products. All while becoming a mother for the third time. Yet, Camilla’s commitment never wavered. Today, Humdakin is more than a brand; it’s a lifestyle inspired by the Danish concept of hygge: finding joy and comfort in the everyday.

With elegant, minimalist packaging, nature-friendly ingredients, and subtle fragrances, these essentials elevate cleaning into a calming ritual rather than a chore. All everyday staples that she uses more than once a day.
Even the name Humdakin carries a personal story. It’s a heartfelt combination of three important parts of Camilla’s life: hum for her daughter Nynne, da for her partner Dan, and kin for her beloved dog King, who was by her side until 2021. It’s a name rooted in family, love, and care, which are the very values at the heart of the brand.
Today, Humdakin products bring joy to homes in more than 50 countries. And as the brand continues to grow, its purpose remains the same: to make everyday cleaning sustainable, stylish, and something to truly enjoy.
