JEDI Commitment
At Humdakin, responsibility is not only about our products and the environment – it is also about people. Even as a small company, the choices we make affect people in our own team, among our partners and throughout our value chain. We therefore work actively with Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) as part of running a responsible business and respecting human rights.
Our JEDI commitment means that we:
• Work for equal opportunities and against discrimination and treat everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation or other background.
• See diversity and inclusion as a strength that improves our culture, our decisions and our business.
• Recognise that equity takes active choices, and equal treatment does not always create equal opportunities.
• Create an inclusive and safe environment, internally and in our collaborations, where different perspectives are heard and taken seriously.
• Listen to the people our business affects, employees, partners and suppliers, and use their input to shape our JEDI efforts.
This commitment applies across our own operations, our relationships with customers and partners, and the communities our business affects, and it guides the policies and practices we put in place.
We see JEDI as a continuous process and are committed to learn, measure and improve over time. Humdakin’s CEO is responsible for our JEDI commitment and continuous work.
